Season 7 Episode 1 - Winter is Here - Post Game Wrap Up

Westeros

The North

Rickon: Slight mention by Arya and.Sansa about his passing

Umber / Karstark alliance - Both sons of Umber and Karstark were sworn to fealty to Jon Snow, King of the North, much to the chagrin of Sansa.

Umber S7E2 prediction: Stay allied for the Winter and Undead to come.

Ramsay: Sansa had to mention his defeat

Bran - Tara dragged him along on a newly constructed litter to the Wall and is allowed entrance to Castle Black by Capt'n Edd . The Others just gave up chase and march all together in unison with the Night King.  Perhaps Bran was marked by the Night King and that will break the magic so he becomes Bran the Breaker or Destroyer? Bran's mission is to tell Jon his father is Rhaegar? But we still don't know if Lyanna's marriage was performed by a septon and thereby legitimate.

Bran S7E2 prediction: Will Bran's travel through the gate allow the Others to pass since the magic of the Children has been negated?

Jon - Sends Tormund and his wildlings to defend the other castles of East Watch. This keeps the Northerners less jittery of mingling with "savages", and Tormund gets in a dig at them for being a protector. Cersei's message to bend the knee will be ignored. Jon grants pardon to the Karstark and Umber lordlings and Sansa makes her dissention known among the other Lords. Quickly, Jon has words with his half-sister and buries any tension. It seems the Knights of the Vale and Littlefinger need little convincing to stay in Winterfell for the Long Night, as the men are needed for the upcoming fight with the Others, and being snowed in.  Still no hope that Bran could possibly be alive.

Jon S7E2 prediction: Jon has to find Dragon Glass or else the Others will win easily.

Jon's prophecy: Azor Ahai; the prince that was promised
Lightbringer: The sword that is created by Azor Ahai by plunging the blade through his beloved's heart, fusing her soul (Nissa Nissa) within the object

Sansa - She boldly questioned Jon's executive decision in front of the northern Lords while he is acting King. The in-fighting delights Lord Baelish as he figures how to keep them at odds.

Sansa S7E2 prediction: Will Sansa be Queen #6? Will Sansa be planning marry Sweetrobin and tell him how his mother Lysa actually died by Petyr pushing her through the Moon Door, giving Lord Baelish his due reward? Will Sansa decide to marry Jon to legitimize and solidify the Stark's hold on the north when the truth comes out that they are not step-siblings? Will she just remain single and defiled and become the Wardeness of the North in name by a tribune of the northern lords in defiance of the Crown? Will Petyr take her prisoner for trial of the murder of Joffrey and deliver her head to Cersei?  Will he take Sansa to Harrenhal to rebuild it and make her a lady of Riverrun once he finds out Walder Frey is dead? Will Petyr betray Cersei and use Sansa as a trojan horse to get into King's Landing when Daenarys' army lays siege to the south portion and then overthrow the Mad Queen?

Sister - Brother rivalry: Sansa ahead

Davos - On the sidelines as always, there's little diplomacy he can do when Lady Bear Mormont is around.

Davos S7E2 prediction: We still don't know if he has been appointed Jon's Hand of the King.

Lord Yohan Royce - Royce was the vocal opponent to allowing the Wildlings to have a part in the future of the North.

Melisandre - Is she going to help against the Others? She went south, so what's there? Did she get a prophecy of someone landing in order to save the day against the undead?

Melisandre S7E2 prediction: Now Mel is going south, she can run into Arya and be dealt with accordingly.

Petyr Baelish - Lord Baelish needs to whittle down his opponents.  Sansa and Jon are completely against him even though they owe him their lives. He surely is still attempting to play double agent for The Crown, feeding Cersei what is happening in the North. If Sansa ever talks to loyalists, she will reveal Petyr advised and aided her leaving King's Landing and then proposed for her marriage to Ramsay to unify the Warden of the North bloodlines. Why hasn't Sansa runs told Royce that Bolton men did not capture her from Baelish. Why hasn't she told Royce that Petyr threw Lysa out the Moon Door in cold blood, changing her testimony. If Royce ever talks to loyalists, then he will tell them Baelish smuggled Sansa out from King's Landing and then Bolton men captured her. Royce would not take kindly to Petyr's insinuations that he betrayed Sansa Stark to Bolton. In any of these scenarios, Petyr's goose is cooked and he has no way to squirm out of the web of deceit that he spun for all the players he's been playing. He has to ensure that Sansa or Jon or Royce never talk to anyone on the opposing side, otherwise his game is over. Petyr's days are numbered as his double crosses are going to catch up to him when Sansa, Jon or Cersei finds out.  Petyr had a hand in their father's arrest. Sandor the "Hound" can attest to that. Royce can divulge that the Bolton's attacked Petyr and kidnapped Sansa, to which she will know he is lying to everyone.  Then she can change her testimony about how Lady Lysa died when Petyr pushed her aunt out the Moon Door in cold blood and not in a struggle to save her life. Baelish was offered the Warden of the North by Cersei after mopping up Stannis and the Boltons for their betrayal of harboring Sansa. Now Petyr has to mop up the Starks.

Petyr S7E2 prediction: Ever playing both sides, Petyr does not want to be seen by the Iron Throne to be siding with the Starks and a Wildling alliance, but defeating the recalcitrant Boltons (for harboring Sansa, an enemy to the throne for aiding in Joffrey's death) to weaken them on the southern front. His best play would have been to have Sansa and Jon die by Bolton's hand, and then turn on Ramsey's forces with his Knights of the Vale by claiming the Crown's decree of protecting Sansa and disloyalty.  This would have tied up any loose ends that could leak and undermine his plots, while keeping Royce, Robin and the Crown in his good graces. With both the Boltons and Starks bloodlines ended, Petyr could have taken the title of Warden of the North for his double victory. He would then have 3 of the 5 Warden titles, with Mace Tyrell holding the South and Devan Lannister (Kevan and Tywin's other brother) holding the West. However, it appears that Petyr still wants to figure out how to get Sansa to marry him since he claims he loved Catelyn and now Sansa. Sansa most likely will turn against him and expose all his devious plans. Petyr should have maneuvered Sansa into marrying Lord Robert Arryn and making her Lady of the Eyrie and then he can rebuild Harrenhal after the wars. Once Harrenhal is defensible, and the Twins are now up for grabs since Walder Frey and his immediate heirs are dead, he could make a play to gain the Twins by trading Sansa's head to the Crown.

The Vale

Lord Robin Arryn - No show for E1.

Riverrun

Lord Walder Frey - A very healthy looking Walder appears not all what he should be and is in fact Arya wearing his face and poisoning all the inheritors of his estates. The Frey clan has been removed from the game.

Black Walder Rivers & Lothar Frey: The brothers listen to the strange words of their faux father and die a horrible agonizing death to poisoned wine.

Arya - She makes her return to Westeros to put the smack down on her mother's murderers and gets revenge for the Red Wedding by poisoning all the last remaining Freys. She has mastered the Faceless Men, gaining not only Walder's face, but his voice, his height, and his mannerisms so convincingly his own kin cannot tell the difference. Sparing the innocent women of the household, she unveils herself and leaves a calling card message to the survivors. Arya is not going to be known for wise decisions and exposing her magic.  Now hellbent on murdering Cersei, she heads further south and runs into Ed Sheeran's band of Lannisters and shares some rabbit and decides to spare them the Needle.  Would have been better if she showed them her talents and laid waste to the camp laughing at them while they mocked her being a girl out all alone. Who knows if they would have tried to take advantage of her and not be decent men.

Arya S7E2 prediction: She will one day compare scars with Jon when she gets home. Do we foresee a reunion with Arya and Sandor and his traveling brothers? Will she run into Melisandre as the witch  predicted?

Brienne / Podrick - Brienne glares around and trains Podrick while Tormund keeps trying to woo her.

Brienne S7E2 prediction: She might float to some Quiet Isle and find a Hound traveling with a band of Brothers. Also, she is stuck in the twilight zone of boat riders of Gendry.

Podrick S7E2 prediction: Still learn how to be a wilderness squire and tag along.

The Fingers

Sandor Clegane - Clegane teams up with Thoros, the red priest and the one eyed leader, Beric, and head north to follow some prophecy.  They run into an old farm where Sandor remembers stealing from the farmer and his daughter and sees the fate his devastating decision had in dooming them to starving to death.  Feeling guilty, he buries them by digging a grave in the frozen ground and giving last rights to assuage his conscience. Ironically, Sandor is prodded to look into the flame which he fears because of his brother's torture and yet finds some messianic mis-fortune within and becomes a believer of the Lord of Light.  The dead are coming. The Wall still stands. How can this be?  I keep saying walk around the damn wall and use ships. Isn't the Night's King intelligent? We know they can't swim for whatever reason and won't enter the waters.  They have tons of pine trees and many dead wildling converts to make rafts. Get to work!

Sandor Clegane S7E2 prediction:   Sandor missed bumping into Brienne or Samwell so his mission is to get to Castle Black and fight the undead without Valyrian steel or dragon glass. Will he run into Sansa and Baelish in Winterfell and spill the dirt on Littlefinger in his dealings with Ned Stark's arrest? Will Sansa fall for Sandor or maybe he will offer some information and then be asked to chop Petyr from breast to navel to put him to ground for good before fighting the Others?

Iron Islands

Euron Greyjoy - Amazingly, Euron and his sailors built 1000 ships and sailed them around Westeros to King's Landing in record time. He holds council with Cersei and is rebuked as his navy is not worth much in offer for the title of King of the Iron Isles. He mentions how it felt good to kill his brother and maybe the Queen should try it (suggesting her murdering Jamie). Displeased, and labeled as a treacherous turncoat, he is sent away after asking to marry Cersei.  But he promises a fine gift once he returns, which no doubt means Yara's head and the end to the Greyjoy rebellion.

Euron S7E2 prediction: With Euron's fleet (somehow numbering in the same hundred's as Yara) he plans to find his neice and nephew on the high seas. Will he sail to Essos and find out he missed the boat? Will he have a dragon controlling horn and meet Dany's fleet in the open east of the Crownlands and try to seek counsel. Maybe he will blow the horn and take control over the 3 dragons and then ask Dany to kneel to him only to cause a major upset battle to whittle down her navy and decimate his instead of both coming together. If anything, Dany should persuade Euron to join with team Dany to take his fleet and blockade Lannisport. The Tyrell fleet should also be blockading Lannisport along with backup from Dorne. Why haven't we heard Dany's plan on taking down Lannisport when Daario asks Dany to let him do just this!

King's Landing

Cersei Baratheon/Lannister - Totally the boss and surveying her enemies, and hinting at an ally. Is it Littlefinger in the North to usurp Winterfell? Dorne in the south has declared war. Dany in the East has declared war landing in Dragonstone. Olenna Tyrell, Queen of Thorns, has broken ranks which ends supplies to the capitol for food from Highgarden. Jon Snow has openly declared as King of the North. Besides the misbegotten Freys, who will play scrimmage with the Lannisters?

Cersei S7E2 prediction: With all her children dead, and no pretenders to the Iron Throne, she just has to deal with open rebellion. She has replaced her Lord Commander and Master of Arms (Jaime?), but needs a Master of Coin, Laws and Ships on the small council. She only has Tyrion to deal with as the spoiler of news that the three children were conceived out of wedlock with Jaime and not Robert Baratheon.

Sister - Brother rivalry: Cersei

Cersei's prophecies:
Each of her children she will watch die before her
She will be killed by Volanqar (younger sibling) -
Arya has her on the hit list, and Nymeria killed Myrcella so why not go for the mother
Sandor could be alive since we did not actually see him stop breathing, and the Faith saved him
Dany might, but she might be too late to the party to help
Tommen does not appear to be the type to be a kinslayer
  Loras is in no shape
  Brienne has no reason

Jaime Lannister - Jaime glares on with the Mountain at the side of his Queen as the probable Master of Arms. He was not sent to the Twins to gather the Freys and misses the assassination on Walder, and all the news.

Jaime S7E2 prediction:  Eventually, news of Frey's demise will reach the Queen and Jaime will be forced to march to the Twins to enforce marshal law and take command of the Frey army to keep that fiefdom loyal.  Or he could march on Dragonstone once news of team Dany landing and take them before they reinforce the castle.  Or he can just stay put with his incestuous sister and wait to be surrounded and besieged at the capitol.

Bronn S7E2 prediction: He will keep reminding Jaime he was promised a castle and a nice looking bride. Maybe Jaime will give him two castles... the Twins and Dragonstone - if he can win the battles to conquer them.

Ser Robert Strong / Gregor Clegane - He quiet glowers at Euron as newly minted Lord Commander of the Kingsguard.

Frankenmountain S7E2 prediction: Glower more.

Qyburn - Qyburn is the new Grand Maester, the Hand of the King and Master of Whisperers with little birds. What does he have in store for the invaders? More wildfyre?

Qyburn S7E2 prediction: Qyburn has a score to settle with revenge for almost being killed by Gregor Clegane's men (allied to Lannister) in Harrenhal, who then travels with Jaime Lannister and saves him from gangrene due to his severed hand. Funny that Qyburn experimented on Gregor and changed him into a unquestioning servant of Cersei. Qyburn has a huge grudge against Gregor and thereby all Lannisters so does he have a hidden safe-word to turn the Mountain on anyone at anytime of his choosing? Is he playing the long con, letting Cersei and Jaime believe he is a friend, when opportunity shows itself, he will turn-cast and put them in the ground?
Olenna Tyrell - Meeting in Dorne with Ellaria Sand. She is Queen #4.

Tommen Baratheon - remain dead for his swan song.

Kevan Lannister - Stay dead from the explosion in the Sept of Baelor.

Maester Pycelle - Stay dead at the hands of children.

High Sparrow - Stay dead in the rubble.

Lancel Lannister - Stay dead in the rubble.

Mace Tyrell - Stay dead in the rubble.

Queen Margaery Baratheon (Tyrell) - Stay dead in the rubble and give up the throne to Cersei.

Loras Tyrell - Stay dead in the rubble.

Lady Olenna S7E2 prediction: The Queen of Thrones will fade to the background and retreat to safety. She is not really much of a queen at this point since who knows who she is going to bequeath Highgarden to. She is a minor Queen #4 like Yara.

Dorne

Ellaria - Secured an alliance with Team Dany through Varys.

Ellaria S7E2 prediction: Ellaria is Queen #3. Have a war council aboard ship with Dany and go back home to prepare a land attack against King's Landing, and send word to Daenerys Targaryen that her troops are ready to move.  With no males left in the Martell family, Ellaria needs a marriage to bind her throne in an alliance before her Sand Snake daughters try to usurp it from her.

Sand Snakes - Snap at people higher up and be admonished at every turn because nobody knows who they are.
(Obara, Nymeria, and Tyene)

Sand Snakes S7E2 prediction: Sneak into King's Landing and attempt to kill Queen Cersei or sneak to Highgarden to murder the Queen of Thrones for making them shut up.

Jorah - Was that his arm in Hightower, the city of the Maesters? Guess he did not go to Lys or Volantis, and made it back to Westeros? Who would take a sick man cursed with grey scale across the Narrow Sea?

Jorah S7E2 prediction: Seek out someone in the Citadel for a cure.

The Reach: Storm's End

Daenerys Targaryen - The Dragon Queen reaches Storm's End and marches with nothing more than an honor guard as she repossesses the joint. Luckily, no assassin was laying in wait to spring on her and slice her to bits.

Daenerys S7E2 prediction: She needs to move her armies into action before the Dothraki get bored and abandon the cause. She knows the Spymaster had arranged her assassination and was using Jorah for the Iron Throne. Will she accept Varys' gambit in Dorne? Where is her meeting with the Spider?

Dany's prophecies:
Light three fires - one for life, death, and love
Ride three mounts - one to bed, one to dread, one to love
Three treasons - once for blood, once for gold, once for love

Daario - He will stay in Meereen and rule in Dany's place.

Daario S7E2 prediction: Sadly, he will not lead the Dothraki against the Westerosi and allows Dany to marry someone more politically motivated without distracting her or ruining her reputation among the Lords of her homeland.

Theon Greyjoy - No show in E1.

Yara Greyjoy - No show in E1.

Theon / Yara S7E2 prediction: Queen #5. Euron will be late to the party and Dany will have put him down and take his fleet with Yara leading the charge protected by a flight of Dragons?

Sister - Brother rivalry: Yara ahead, but only by sausage.

Tyrion - A bit part in walking abreast Dany in Storm's End.

Tyrion S7E2 prediction: Advise Dany and deal with the logistics of blockading King's Landing and Casterly Rock by navy, and using Dornish and Tyrell's armies to launch D-Day against Cersei with the Dothraki and Unsullied trampling the Reach by raiding and pillaging farms loyal to the throne.

Tyrion parentage theory: It is rumored that the late King Aerys II Targaryen bedded Tywin's wife Joanna Lannister after the 10th anniversary Tournament. Since all of the Queen's births were miscarraiges or stillborns, with the last being premature, it is plausible that Aerys' tainted seed could have caused Joanna's death in childbirth to a disfigured boy, even though sister-Queen Rhaella survived many birthings. Aerys taunted Joanna at the tourney, and in the past desired her to be his wife as he mocked Tywin that it is no longer the host's right to take the bride first before her husband has a chance to bed. Tywin had alluded that Tyrion might not be his child by blood, but he upheld that he was a Lannister.  This would tie in with RT+LS=J, and Daenerys, and Tyrion to be the three dragon-riders and all related in the same Targaryen bloodline.

Varys - Walking with Dany in Storm's End.

Varys S7E2 prediction: Sneak off on Ellaria Sand's ship to Dorne after a war council with the plan to bring the Dornish army to bear against Cersei, avoiding a confrontation with Dany.

Grey Worm - Protecting his Queen.

Missandei - She hung out in the background hoping to survive another day.

The Reach: Old Town

Samwell & Gilly & baby Sam - Now that Sam is at the Citadel, he is putting in his dues. We could have been spared the laborious and boring details. Sam seeks knowledge and is being denied so he takes matters into his own hands and steals a library key and books and makes the discovery that Stormhold can be mined for dragon glass to make weapons to defeat the Others. He sends news to Jon, who should be at Castle Black, but somehow the raven knows Jon is in Winterfell instead.

Samwell E7E2 prediction: Lord Tarly  (or brother Dickon) will be after Sam and want to hang him for stealing the sword since it has not been legally bestowed to Sam. Sam will have to get seriously trained in swordplay if he plans on using Heartbane, and seek protection from another lord from his father's deadly wrath or his father and retainers who will be chasing Sam and Gilly down. If Sam can talk the maesters to allow Gilly to stay under protection she might not be taken hostage by the Tarly's in retaliation. Perhaps Sam wants the sword so the maesters can study on why it can destroy the Others, as well as dragonglass. Possibly the Citadel will offer protection for Sam and not allow the Tarlys to arrest him.  However, Gilly and the baby are easy targets and might be given up by spies. Can the maesters discover how to remake Valyrian steel? Will Sam take a wagon load of weapons north to swing the tide of battle when the Others find a way past the Wall? Was that Sir Jorah Mormont in that cell with dragonscale?

Season 6 Episode 9 - Battle of the B@st@rds - Post Game Wrap Up

Westeros

The North

Rickon - The rumors were true. Rickon was used as bait for Jon and was pincushioned by Ramsay in the no-man's land area.  This leaves Bran as the next male heir to Winterfell.

Rickon S6E10 prediction: Have a funeral pyre.

Umber / Karstark alliance - SmallJon Umber went to bat for Ramsay and paid for his life against Tormund for it. Same for Karstarks.

Umber S6E10 prediction: Get replaced by other lords.

Ramsay Bolton - Ramsay had a silly parley with Jon and company before the big stand off. It appeared that Ramsay had the numbers to win easily, but because he did not set up behind the wall, he was overconfident and lost by the Riders of the Vale. After Ramsay was pummeled by Jon, Sansa feed him to his own dogs since Robert Baratheon said she would be better off playing with hounds instead of dire wolves. Too bad his leveling up after killing the last Giant of the North did not give him enough hit points to survive his torture. I could have sworn I heard a *ding* when Wun-Wun got an arrow in his eye and dropped.

Ramsay S6E10 prediction: Stay dead while being processed as dog food.

Bran - No show in E9.

Bran S6E10 prediction: I throw my hands up. BenJen(obi)  [did you notice the throwback hood removal a la Alec Guiness style?] will take Bran south of the Wall while being chased by the Others while he attempts to digest the elder 3ER brain core dump. Then Bran will have some more flashback greensight of the Mad King with the Kingslayer, dragons, raven, explosions of wildfire, seeing Jaime pushing him out of the tower window in Winterfell, and by E10 see Rhaegar and Lyanna with the newborn Jon. Perhaps BenJen will fool Bran to go south beyond the Wall and allow the Others to pass the magic seal instead of keeping them on a chase. Can BenJen pass through the Wall after Bran does? Is BenJen also linked to the weirwood and the Night King?

Jon - Amazingly enough, Jon has his Azor Ahai Uber Armor on and survived drowning in a mosh pit. He fell for Ramsay's trick on being way too far away from his protective line and caused his cavalry to commit too soon into volleys or arrows. He somehow survives a clash of two cavalry lines at ground zero with nary a scratch. Even a dozen arrows are warded by Jon turning his back to them in utter defiance. He even demanded Melisandre to not resurrect him in case he should die in the upcoming battle to make the viewers believe he has no plot armor.

Jon S6E10 prediction: Jon has to thank Littlefinger and Lord Royce for the last minute save. At the same time, he has to reprimand Sansa for not being upfront about possible reinforcements and hiding information. Jon might have to also patch up things between Davos and Melisandre since Davos is fuming that Shireen was sacrificed to the Lord of Light.

Jon's prophecy: Azor Ahai; the prince that was promised
Lightbringer: The sword that is created by Azor Ahai by plunging the blade through his beloved;s heart, fusing her soul (Nissa Nissa) within the object

Sansa - Joined the parley to see her husband to soon be divorced. She has utterly nothing battle worthy to add, but warns Jon not to fall into Ramsay's  hand. Somehow, Sansa slipped off and found the Knights of the Vale but no scouts from the Bolton's or Jon were able to.  She finally got closure and a final divorce from Ramsay by letting loose the hounds of war. Somehow the hungry dogs opened their kennel cages just as she threatened Ramsay that he was going to die. Maybe the dogs speak with Sansa telepathically.

Davos - He found the poor gift he gave Shireen and a small sacrificial pyre and put his grudge aside for a later time. While holding the rear with the archers and unable (and unwilling to shoot into his own lines unlike Ramsay), he committed the last of the forces instead of waiting for the shield wall entrapment maneuver behind Jon's line.

Melisandre - She listened to Jon give her demands, only to say the Lord of Light gives her visions and causes the future.

Sansa S6E10 prediction: Will Sansa make nice with Jon and apologize for hiding an ace in her sleeve? Will Sansa be planning marry Sweetrobin and tell him how his mother Lysa actually died by Petyr pushing her through the Moon Door, giving Lord Baelish his due reward? Will Sansa decide to marry Jon to legitimize and solidify the Stark's hold on the north? Will she just remain single and defiled and become the Wardeness of the North in name by a tribune of the northern lords in defiance of the Crown? Will Petyr take her prisoner for trial of the murder of Joffrey?

Sister - Brother rivalry: Sansa ahead

Melisandre S6E10 prediction: As she predicted, she walked the battlements of Winterfell. Now she has to wait for Arya to arrive.

Davos S6E10 prediction: Davos will go to Jon, swearing to the old gods and the new and the Red that Melisandre needs to pay for her sins with her head by sacrificing Shireen. Jon will talk him out of his call for justice since Melisandre will twist it that Stannis allowed it to happen and she just did the will of the Lord of Light and as Stannis commanded.

Samwell & Gilly & baby Sam - No show for E9.

Samwell E6E10 prediction: Lord Tarly  (or brother Dickon) will be after Sam and want to hang him for stealing the sword since it has not been legally bestowed to Sam. Gilly will not be allowed into the Citadel, but she will be able to stay hidden in Oldtown. Sam will have to get seriously trained in swordplay if he plans on using Heartbane, and seek protection from another lord from his father's deadly wrath or his father and retainers who will be chasing Sam and Gilly down. If Sam can talk the maesters to allow Gilly to stay under protection she might not be taken hostage.

Petyr Baelish - The problem for Petyr is that he has played too many sides against each other - The Crown vs. Bolton, Robin vs. Royce, Sansa vs. Bolton - that if any of the manipulated agents talk without Baelish present, his plans will be outed. Petyr only has one lose end tied with the death of Roose and Ramsay. For instance, if Sansa is captured by Lannister men, she will say Petyr advised and aided her leaving King's Landing and then proposed for her marriage to Ramsay to unify the Warden of the North bloodlines. If Sansa runs into Robin or Royce, she will tell him Bolton men did not capture her from Baelish. Maybe she can possibly convince Robin that Petyr threw Lysa out the Moon Door in cold blood, changing her testimony. If Royce runs into Lannister, then he will tell them Baelish smuggled Sansa out from King's Landing and then Bolton men captured her. Royce would not take kindly to Petyr's insinuations that he betrayed Sansa Stark to Bolton. In any of these scenarios, Petyr's goose is cooked and he has no way to squirm out of the web of deceit that he spun for all the players he's been playing. He has to ensure that Sansa or Jon or the Boltons never talk to anyone else, otherwise his game is over. Now that he won the day for Sansa, he will ask her to marry him by the Godswood while she plays coy.  Without her loyalty, Petyr's days are numbered as news of his double crosses catch up to him when Sansa or Jon finds out. Baelish was offered the Warden of the North by Cersei after mopping up Stannis and / or the Boltons for their betrayal of harboring Sansa. Somehow off screen the Vale forces went around Moat Cailin or defeated them.

Petyr S6E9 prediction: Ever playing both sides, Petyr does not want to be seen by the Iron Throne to be siding with the Starks and a Wildling alliance, but defeating the recalcitrant Boltons (for harboring Sansa, an enemy to the throne for aiding in Joffrey's death) to weaken them on the southern front. His best play would be to let Sansa and Jon lose to Bolton, and be put to death (along with Rickon), and then use the Knights of the Vale to destroy Ramsay's remnant forces in retaliation by the Crown's decree of protecting a prisoner.  This would have tied up any loose ends that could leak and undermine his plots, while keeping Royce, Robin and the Crown in his good graces. With both the Boltons and Starks bloodlines ended, Petyr can given title to Warden of the North for his victory by the Crown. He will then have 3 of the 5 Warden titles, with Mace Tyrell holding the South and Devan Lannister (Kevan and Tywin's other brother) holding the West. However, it appears that Petyr wants to marry Sansa at the end of the battle, so all the conspiracies that Baelish concocted will bite him in the rear and he will either be killed, captured or run into exile to avoid punishment. Sansa most likely will turn against him and expose all his devious plans. Petyr should have maneuvered Sansa into marrying Lord Robert Arryn.

The Vale
Lord Robin Arryn - No show for E9.

Lord Yohan Royce - No show for E9. Maybe he was there in the back.

Riverrun

Lord Walder Frey - No show for E9.

Black Walder Rivers & Lothar Frey: The brothers will host a party for the Lannister forces at the Twins.

Jaime Lannister - No show for E9

Jaime S6E10 prediction:  After the victory, Jaime will march to the Twins and dine with Walder Frey. Does a raven from Ramsay bring news to Walder that Roose and Walda are dead from poison by Sansa, or a spy of Stannis? Does he get into an argument with Walder about reinstating Edmune "Frey" as Lord of Riverrun, plus sickened at the sight of this Walder's behavior and depravity he decides to "pull a Castamere" on the Freys? That would prevent Arya (and Sandor) from revisiting the Twins and laying Walder down to his final sleep. However, since Edmune would be the last and only survivor of the Frey bloodline, he would inherit the Twins as well as Riverrun. Or the Freys might ask for vengeance against Bolton and since Jaime lost his hand to a Bolton man, he might repay his debts and bring Ramsay down. Maybe Lord Manderly from White Harbor will serve pie to the Freys and avoid the legalities of Guest Rights...

Bronn S6E10 prediction: He will keep reminding Jaime he was promised a castle and a nice looking bride. Maybe Jaime will give him two castles...

Brienne / Podrick - No show for E9.

Brienne S6E9 prediction: She might float to some Quiet Isle and find a Hound traveling with a band of Brothers.

Podrick S6E9 prediction: Still learn how to be a wilderness squire and tag along.

The Fingers

Sandor Clegane - No show for E9.

Sandor Clegane S6E10 prediction:   Sandor is in the area east of Riverrun, south of the Twins and near Harrenhal. If Brienne and Podrick are taking a boat down the Trident, they might bump into him. It might be a cold reception at first, but the two of them might bury the axe and actually talk. His past with Sansa might come up and Brienne will try not to make her mission a total failure. It's doubtful that Samwell will run into Sandor and loan him Heartsbane (would be sweet to see him wielding that Claymore and cap off the Mountain) and pledge himself to go north to help Jon. Either way, Sandor will be highly sought after and very hard to keep hidden due to his height, strength and scarred face. However, the prediction that Sandor will go to King's Landing to act as the champion of the Faith Militant is nixxed as the King put an end to such Trial by Combat practices. He was known to be a Lannister man and a deserter from Joffrey's Kingsguard and still has a price on his head so going to the King's Landing would be suicide. No pardon from the Seven will be coming for Sandor.

Iron Islands

Euron Greyjoy - No show for E9.

Euron S6E10 prediction: It would take approximately 4 years to build a fleet of 1000 ships and then a month to saild in treacherous seas to reach Meereen from the north west coast of Westeros, south around the Reach and Dorne, the Summer Sea and the Narrow Sea, etc. etc.  But maybe Euron has borrowed Littelfinger's worm hole teleporter which can fit a ship at a time for each of a 1000 to slip through, or so large it can encompass the entire fleet.  Also, he will have to contend with a civil war from Yara.  If Yara starts a civil war, it looks doubtful Euron is going to be able to keep the few ships he has left, much less be able to launch a new fleet. He will be land locked and unable to sail to Essos. But, Balon's brood has made haste to Meereen to outfox the fox.

King's Landing

Tommen Baratheon - No show for E9.

Kevan Lannister - No show for E9.

Cersei Baratheon/Lannister - No show for E9.

Ser Robert Strong / Gregor Clegane - No show for E9.

Maester Pycelle - No show for E9.

High Sparrow - No show for E9.

Lancel Lannister - No show for E9.

Olenna Tyrell - No show for E9.

Mace Tyrell - No show for E9.

Queen Margaery Baratheon (Tyrell) - No show for E9.

Loras Tyrell - No show for E9.

Qyburn - No show for E9.

Cersei S6E10 prediction: With the trial fast approaching, and the new edict from King Tommen, she will have to stand trial in court. Still, she has pushed down any priority in seeking revenge on Dorne for Myrcella's death. Or hiring an assassin for Tyrion if her spies can find him. She has bigger fish to fry like her defense in her trial. Cersei has failed to train Tommen to betray the HS. There are rumors that the Sept of Baelor is packed below with wildfire, except for book-readers, the Sept was cleansed. Perhaps the pyromancers put it back.

If Cersei wins the trial, the High Sparrow might leak that Olenna Tyrell murdered Joffrey instead of blaming Tyrion. The HS might want to put the nail in the coffin to ensure the two families break their allegiance. Another vector of attack for the HS is finally revealing incontrovertible proof that Joffrey and Tommen are products of incest between her and Jaime, fanning the flames again of rumors and bits of facts left by Jon Arryn and Ned Stark, and possibly someone overhearing Jaime yelling in Cersei's chambers. Lancel's might confess and betray Cersei and Jaime for a second attempt at a trial. If Cersei wins her first trial, and the news that the HS is arresting her again for incest, while removing Tommen from the throne, she might go Mad King and try to blow up the Sept of Baelor with wildfire as seen in Bran's vision and burn them all. The whole "burn them all" was the victory strategy that the 3 Eyed Raven was whispering to Aerys II Targaryen to defeat white walkers and army of the dead, but that is not important now. Writing to Jaime about needing him to protect her from the incest accusations, (with Jaime finding out that Cersei cheated with Lancel and so rebukes her with silence), Cersei will eventually give up waiting for a rescue from her brother when the HS noose comes for her when her trial is ended and she is sentenced.
At that point, Cersei will send a letter to be read to the High Sparrow, and the six other judges, while Tommen, Margaery, Loras and the Faith are in attendance. The reader will announce that Cersei proclaims Joffrey and Tommen children of incest with he brother Ser Jaime. Cersei declared to Tywin that she would tell the world before he died by Tyrion's hand. With a signal from the tolling of a bell to declare Cersei's sentencing complete, the Sept will explode with wildfire. As most of the people are trapped within the Sept, Tommen decides to leap out of a window to his death below. Lancel will escape with bad burns and tell Kevan what happened. Kevan will sneak attack Frankenmountain and Lancel will kill Cersei. Father and son will then rule the galaxy and outlaw Jaime. Jaime stripped of honor and title will join up with the Starks and Brienne.

Sister - Brother rivalry: Jaime

Cersei's prophecies:
Each of her children she will watch die before her
She will be killed by Volanqar (younger sibling) -
Arya has her on the hit list, and Nymeria killed Myrcella so why not go for the mother
Sandor could be alive since we did not actually see him stop breathing, and the Faith saved him
Dany might, but she might be too late to the party to help
Tommen does not appear to be the type to be a kinslayer
  Loras is in no shape
  Brienne has no reason

High Sparrow S6E10 prediction: The HS has yet to play his trump card to remove Loras and Tommen once and for all. Certainly there is proof of Loras' buggery with Renly, and that Margaery was marrying the false king Renly. Also, there are tons of crumbs detailing Cersei and Jaime had Tommen in incest. Since Trial by Combat has been repeeled, Cersei's champion is moot. This will possibly lead to Tommen's death when he realizes the HS manuevered him into causing his mother to be arrested and resist by using Gregor, causing chaos in the Red Keep. Then HS could whisper to Tommen to toe the line or else he will reveal his illegitimacy. Overwhelmed with guilt, Tommen might take a leap of faith out a window. Lancel is keeping Kevan in check, and his conversion means loss of title, and death would mean Kevan lost his heir for good. The HS might break Loras to convert to the Faith. Holding Loras keeps House Tyrell in check and preventing his marriage to Cersei to further prevent the bond between two strong houses. If Cersei should win the trial, he has two more cards to play. He could finally dismantle House Tyrell by implicating Olenna in the poisoning of King Joffrey, and pardon Tyrion for murder of the King, but still have a warrant for his sin of murdering his father Tywin. Then he can bring up the incest claim between Cersei and Jaime in full force, obliterating House Lannister in one last broad stroke, taking Cersei again into prison, along with Tommen's removal from the Iron Throne.  The High Sparrow asked Cersei if she had infidelities with any other man besides Lancel and she denied it adamantly. This would allow the HS to usurp the throne with no heir apparent from either House Lannister or Tyrell, showing proof that Cersei and Jaime birthed Tommen and Joffrey. This bold move also removes Margaery claim to the throne since she is no longer married to a recognized King. If the Tyrells try to counter to take the throne for themselves, the pending trial and imprisonment of Loras makes him ineligible since the people will revolt against the Tyrells at the HS bidding. Jaime will not be able to return from the Riverlands in time. Or perhaps he will realize how disgusting Cersei is and stay safe at Casterly Rock and avoid going to King's Landing. He might resign himself not to save his sister because he would be implicated and imprisoned for incest as well. Or he might get to King's Landing in time for her trial, find out she plans to blow up the Sept if she loses her trial, and when she loses he decides to kill her and save innocent people, replaying history of Kingslayer. Jaime will then be arrested for murder, regardless of saving the world. Once Kevan is the only Lannister left, the HS will orchestrate his assassination and plant proof implicating the Sand Snakes or Tyrion, Varys and/or Daenerys from their exile in Essos. (See Cersei's prediction)

Queen Margaery S6E10 prediction: She will continue to find a way to bend Tommen to her will in a contest with the Sparrow. Perhaps she is using her piety to deny Tommen in bed and make him beg and promise her anything to get an heir. Her next objective is to be "The Queen", and use that power to protect her brother Loras from the Faith and further punishment. She will feel at peace knowing her grandmother is safe away in Highgarden. With Septa Unella in tow, her words will be carefully chosen with whomever she meets with.  However, I fear that Loras will have to repent and convert to the Faith. Marg needs to twist Tommen into a knot and start making him see he is in mortal danger from the Sparrow and disarm the Faith Militant with a royal decree, reduce their numbers to a handful and have the position of High Septon appointed by the King for an annual (or maybe two year) term instead of for life, and the install the crown's ability to move septons around the kingdom at will.  I doubt she has any way to overpower the Sparrow for Tommen's decision making, watching the royal power of Tyrell crumble. The HS might have a few surprises she cannot combat, such as turning Loras into a devout, or illegitimizing Tommen's birthright to the throne and removing her from power. Maybe she might reconsider getting pregnant in order to lengthen her life span. (See Cersei's prediction)

Lady Olenna S6E10 prediction: The Queen of Thrones will fade to the background and retreat to safety.

Kevan S6E10 prediction: I forsee Cersei getting revenge on him and putting him to ground. If not, the Sparrow will use him to round up the rest of his family, arresting Cersei and Jaime for incest, and Tyrion of kinslaying.

Pycelle S6E10 prediction: Having hidden his spry nature in the guise of an elderly bent man, Cersei has no more use for Pycelle, but Tommen will not forgo having a Grand Maester as counselor.

Sister - Brother rivalry: Sister winning

Frankenmountain S6E10 prediction: He will possibly attack Kevan or defend Cersei from arrest by the Faith Militant and go down swinging from an assassin from behind (possible season trailer hint).

Tommen S6E10 prediction: This boy appears totally whipped by Margaery's charms and the Sparrow's compelling words. I doubt he has it in him to stab the Sparrow in the back and instead will give the Sparrow everything he wants. With Margaery's support from the people, the dismantling of the nobility's special treatment will be whittled away. He can whine all he wants about not bedding Margaery, but he cannot even seduce her on his own as he has no charisma. (See Cersei's prediction)

Mace S6E10 prediction: Take Olenna home to Highgarden.

Loras S6E10 prediction: Loras is ready to face his trial of the Seven.

Qyburn S6E10 prediction: Protect Cersei when she gets arrested by the Faith Militant and set off the wildfire laser show under the Sept. He also might kill off Pycelle for several reasons; 1) Pycelle is loyal to Cersei (as shown by Tyrion's gambit of marrying off Myrcella), 2) revenge for almost being killed by Gregor Clegane's men (allied to Lannister) in Harrenhal, who then travels with Jaime Lannister and saves him from gangrene due to his severed hand, 3) revenge for the maester's outing him from the order and Pycelle's constant badgering that Qyburn is unconventional and a heretic. Funny who Qyburn experimented on Gregor and causing his change to do (his? and) Cersei's bidding when Qyburn has a huge grudge against Gregor and thereby all Lannisters. He is playing the long con, letting Cersei and Jaime believe he is a friend, when secretly his is plotting for an opportunity to put them in the ground.

Dorne

Ellaria -

Sand Snakes -
Obara, Nymeria, etc.

Ellaria S6E10 prediction: Have a war council and move on the Stormland to prepare a land attack against King's Landing, and send word to Daenerys Targaryen for her return once the area is secured. Or Varys will arrive to seek an alliance with Dorne to coordinate an attack with Dany.

Sand Snakes S6E10 prediction: Kill off Kevan Lannister and Pycelle.

Essos

Jorah - No show for E9.

Jorah S6E10 prediction: Seek out someone in Lys or some R'hollr priestess in Volantis for a cure, or hear about how Seline was healed.

Meereen

Daenerys Targaryen - She looked peeved at the state of Meereen was in by leaving Tyrion in charge. A small blast hit the council chamber window but no one got hurt. Somehow they ran to parley with three Masters in a safe area outside of town by running from the safe pyramid.  Dany seemed to be following Tyrion's approval nod in making final decisions. Then she finally calls in the Dragons and all three of them flight and destroy one or two ships, and somehow they make the rest of the fleet surrender.  It seems even though Tyrion freed Vis and Rhaegal, they were too big to sneak out at night.  The dothraki riders led by Daario finally arrived but it looked like they would have been easy pickings for the flaming ballistas. Dany has no idea Varys is working for her and never saw the Spider or talked with him. She knows the Spymaster had arranged her assassination and was using Jorah for the Iron Throne. Will she accept Varys' gambit in Dorne?

Daenerys S6E10 prediction: She is now fully committed to ruling Meereen, Astapor and Yunkai. But she has to move her armies before they get bored sitting around doing nothing and wasting money and food by not moving to Westeros.

Dany's prophecies:
Light three fires - one for life, death, and love
Ride three mounts - one to bed, one to dread, one to love
Three treasons - once for blood, once for gold, once for love

Daario - Daario led the charge with the Dothraki around the pyramid of Meereen..

Daario S6E10 prediction: He might betray her as one of the instigators of the Sons of the Harpy, or even as a spy who let the Masters know Dany was out of town. He leads the Second Sons (not the Stormcrows) on the show, so the naming might be too coincidental. Perhaps he will led the Dothraki against the Master's army on the beach head and drive them back.

Theon Greyjoy - A late arrival after the 2nd siege of Meereen was ended. He defers to his sister when dealing with Dany. As predicted, Tyrion was very leery of the Greyjoys and their past treacheries.

Yara Greyjoy - Yara does most of the talking for the Ironborn. She did not claim her fleet captured any of the Master's ships. She strikes a bargain with the Queen Mother of Dragons but she has to give up piracy in Westeros. Maybe she can raid Essos or what is west of Westeros? She puts her 100 ships under Dany's command in order to make sure Euron is deposed from the Salt Throne.

Theon / Yara S6E10 prediction: Euron will be late to the party and Dany will have put him down and take his fleet.

Sister - Brother rivalry: Yara ahead, but only by sausage.

Tyrion - Tyrion is fully the Hand of the Queen and doing a smash up job. He corners the Greyjoys but allows them to swear loyalty to Dany in return for being independent from all other rulers as a free city-state. He was cool as a cucumber in dealing with the Masters. He has giving up using prostitutes and that will serve him well to garner more respect from people around him.

Tyrion S6E10 prediction: Advise Dany and deal with the logistics of shipping the army off to Westeros and finding a launching point for D-Day.

Varys - No show for E9.

Varys S6E10 prediction: Sneak off with a rebuilt ship to Dorne and plot to ally with Ellaria Sand since Doran is dead. Or maybe he fails. Can he convince Ellaria to put a Targaryen back on the throne? With no males in the family, they can't offer a marriage to bind the alliance.

Grey Worm - Finally showing his knife skills by slicing two Masters and leaving the low born Master to live.

Missandei - She hung out in the background hoping to survive another day.

Braavos

Arya - No show for E9.

Arya S6E10 prediction: Arya was stabbed and needs a ride to Westeros. Maybe Gendry will row up and offer Arya a ride? She will one day compare scars with Jon when she gets home. Does Arya land in the Riverlands and decide to pay Walder Frey a visit and end his miserable 400 old life for the Red Wedding betrayal? Do we foresee a reunion with Arya and Sandor, and then they run into Sansa? And will Sansa fall for Sandor and chop Petyr from breast to navel to put him to ground for good? And then they all will run into Melisandre as she predicted?

Act I

<Robert strides across the field, looking for game>
Robert: (farts) Ahh! Oh, murdered by a boar.
Robert: The great big hairy whore.
Robert: He dug in his tusks and dug out my guts and soon I am no more.
Joffrey: Oh, come, Father, in bed you must lie.
Joffrey: I love you, Father.
Joffrey: Please don't die.
Robert:  <slaps Joffrey> Shut up, you swine! Cersei, more wine.
<Joffrey kneels>
Cersei: I feel the winds of winter as they lick across the land.
Cersei: And our son alone on that cold, cold throne without a guiding hand.
Cersei: Who will teach him strength? Who will teach him grace?
Cersei: To whom will he turn when it's time to learn to look darkness in the face?
Robert: Ned Stark will do fine.
Robert: Now bring me more wine.
<Tyrion pours Robert a cup>
Ned Stark: Ooh! Ooh, what's happened here, then?
Tyrion: He brought you here, Ned Stark, 'cause you're the brightest fellow in the land.
Tyrion: You should be king of us all and I should be your Hand.
Ned Stark: We men of the North are right good hands at keeping people lawful.
Ned Stark: I'd ask him for permission, but he smells too bloody awful.
Robert: <screams>  I die! I die! And here I now must lie.
Robert: Oh, woe.
Robert: Oh, no.
Robert:  (farts) Oh, I am about to go. (farting)
Cersei: Will you stay on as Joffrey's Hand?
Ned Stark: The Iron Throne's what I demand.
Cersei:  You cannot.
Ned Stark:  I can.
Cersei:  You will not.
Ned Stark:  I will.
Cersei:  You dare not.
Ned Stark:  I dare yes.
Cersei: The line of succession.
Ned Stark:  What's that mean?
Cersei:  The proper progression.
Ned Stark:  What's that mean?
Cersei:  The lawful ascension.
Ned Stark:  What's that mean?
Ned Stark: So move along, give me my chair and there won't be no more trouble.
<Joffrey slaps Ned>
<Tyrion holds a knife to Ned's throat>
Ned Stark: (grunts) But we had a deal all done and dusted.
Ned Stark: I'm starting to think you can't be trusted.
<Cersei crowns Joffrey>
<Joffrey waves to the crowd>
<Two soldiers put Ned on the chopping block>
<Sansa enters stage left>
Sansa: Save my father. Truly you should.
Cersei: Killing the man will do you no good.
Sansa:  Save him, please.
Cersei:  Show him mercy.
Cersei:  Show the people what a good king should be.
<Ned Stark nods>
Joffrey:  Good people, you may all relax.
Joffrey:  My father's friend shall be spared the --
<Executioner chops Ned Stark's head off>
Sansa: (screams) Father!
Sansa: <runs to pick up head and kneels> No! Oh, Father.
<Executioner takes head and tosses it to right soldier behind Ned's body>
Sansa: Oh!
<Joffrey catches a fainting Sansa>
Tyrion: Worry not! All is well.
Tyrion:I have here a decree from my father, Tywin Lannister, the richest man you'll see.
Tyrion: He proclaims me Hand of the King.
Tyrion: The position's mine for life.
Tyrion: And he's given me permission to take Sansa as my wife.
<Tyrion grabs Sansa's hand and puts it on his groin and grinds>
Sansa: (screams)
<Joffrey stands and towers, glowering at Tyrion>
<Tyrion slaps Joffrey>
Sansa: (whimpers)
Tyrion: You'll learn that what I lack in height, I make up for in appetite.
<Tyrion tears opens Sansa's blouse>
Sansa: (screams)
Tyrion: So let's forget about your plight, and go rehearse our wedding night.
<Tyrion leds Sansa exit stage left>

End Act I

Act II

<Tyrion gets drunk at his wedding>
<Joffrey implores the newlyweds to have their bedding ceremony>
<Tyrion and Sansa consummate the marriage>

Act II?

<Tyrion and Sansa stage right>
<Margaery behind dias on right>
<Cersei stage left>

<Joffrey cuts open pigeon pie with sword>
Joffrey: The lion and the rose are one.
Joffrey: I thank the gods above.
<Margaery strides quickly to hold hands with Joffrey>
Joffrey: And to you, my beauteous bride, I pledge undying love.
<Joffrey kisses Margaery's hand>
All: Hail King Joffrey.
Hail Queen Margaery.
<Joffrey and Margaery go back behind the royal dias>
Joffrey: I'll drink a toast to my new queen, for there is no one fairer.
Joffrey: Dear Uncle, will you share my joy and be my royal cupbearer?
<Tyrion walks from position right on stage>
Tyrion: Drink long and deep, my noble king, from this cup of sweet wine.
Tyrion: The last drink he shall ever take.
Tyrion: And vengeance shall be mine. (laughs)
<Joffrey takes cup from Tyrion and drinks>
Joffrey: (gurgle)
<Joffrey moves to center stage>
Joffrey: Poison! Murder! I gasp.
Joffrey: I-- I-- I die.
Joffrey: I limp.
Joffrey: And it was he ---
<Joffrey points cup at Tyrion>
<Tyrion wiggles wine flask>
Joffrey: that poisoned me.
Joffrey: My evil Uncle Imp.
<Joffrey collaspes>
<Tyrion laughs and exits stage right with Sansa>
<Cersei moves and kneels besides Joffrey and takes his head in her hand>
Cersei: My son.
Cersei: My firstborn son.
Cersei: My child king, hush.
Cersei: Listen to the gods, for you they sing.
Cersei: Fight no more, sweet child, your wars are won.
Cersei: The wolves are buried and the false stag done.
Cersei: Shut your blue eyes, my love.
Cersei: Let the crown fall.
Cersei: The Father above beckons you to his hall.
Cersei: In Seventh Heaven I'll see you once more.
Cersei: But now I seek vengeance on Sansa the whore
Cersei: And my brother the Imp who killed his own king.
Cersei: Born amongst lions, our curse from within.
Cersei: I will slay him, I swear.
Cersei: With noose or with knife,
Cersei: though it take me a fortnight,
Cersei: A moon or my life.

Cersei: My firstborn son.
Cersei: My golden lion foully, falsely slain.
Cersei: I pray you found a lasting peace free from strife and pain.
Cersei: Hear my prayer, O cruel gods
Cersei: Take my life instead.
Cersei: For I cannot face another day when my sweet boy is dead.
Cersei: Oh, woe.
Cersei: Oh, grief.
Cersei: (crying) Oh, darkest day, my heart is full of sorrow.
Cersei: (gasp) All hope is lost.
Cersei: All joy is gone.
Cersei: And there is no tomorrow.

<Cersei kisses Joffrey's cheek and lays his head down gently>

<Tywin sits on "throne">
<Tyrion enters stage right with crossbow>
Tyrion: What is that I hear and smell? Someone I'll soon send to hell.
Tyrion: It's time to see if truth they told who said Tywin Lannister shits gold.
<Tyrion aims and shoots Tywin>
Tywin: (groans) You beast.
Tywin:You beast.
Tywin: You killed my wife and now you've taken your father's life.
Tywin: No worse child ever stained this land.
Tywin: Curse the day I named you.
Tywin: (groans) (farts) (dies)
Tyrion: My greatest crime!
Tyrion: Now I must flee.
Tyrion: Then sail across the Narrow Sea to do unto you more treachery.
Tyrion: Don't fear winter.
Tyrion: Fear me! (evil laugh)
<Tyrion shoots another bolt into the canopy>
<Tyrion exits stage right>

Season 6 Episode 8 - No One - Post Game Wrap Up

Westeros

The North

Rickon - No show in E8.

Rickon S6E9 prediction: Still act as useful hostage as bait to lure Jon or Sansa to Winterfell to attempt a rescue mission or prisoner exchange. He might warg into Bolton's hounds and get his revenge by turning them against Ramsay. There is no value in killing Rickon until all the other Starks are finally dead. Rumor has it that Ramsay will release Rickon across the no-man's land of pre-battle with Jon's forces and tell him to outrun his archers and the boy will die in Snow's arms.

Umber / Karstark alliance - No show in E8.

Umber S6E9 prediction: With only 2000 Wildlings able to fight according to Jon, it doesn't appear those beyond the Wall are raiding and Umber is just using an excuse to secure Ramsay's aid. Umber can play both sides should Ramsay or Jon win. Because LittleJon did not bend the knee to Ramsay, he can truthfully say he was not fully allied with Ramsay and was ensuring that he was protecting Rickon in order to arrange a future married to one of Ramsay's future daughters and ensure that the Stark line is now merged with Bolton without needing to kill off the Stark boy.

Ramsay Bolton - No show in E8.

Ramsay S6E9 prediction: Ramsay is going to consolidate his strength in Winterfell. With the E5 trailer, Baelish has teleported to the north, missing the army of the Vale marching on Moat Cailin (avoiding White Harbor and House Manderly). Bolton has to be sending out envoys to get more support for the remaining Lords. He already has Umber and Karstark. Will he get House Manderly's allegiance (and possible turn-coat later on), or will Brienne beat him to it? Bolton has to defend the Moat and spread forces to make good on his pact with Umbers. Ramsay should have had plenty of time to call on many small houses to gauge allegiances and unite the north under as its warden, bringing more soldiers to bear with ravens and envoys. If he doesn't, he is a fool. In the trailer, Ramsay is a fool for meeting Jon on the field of battle instead of letting them attempt a siege.  This is the most ridiculous strategy that Ramsay can take since Jon has no siege weapons, he can just wait and let Jon's men freeze while it snows. Bolton's overconfidence will be his downfall and he will fall prisoner to the Starks. Would be nice if they behead him, but maybe he has knowledge and will be made to suffer.

Bran - No show in E8.

Bran S6E9 prediction: I throw my hands up.

Jon - Amazingly enough, Jon brought Sansa to the Wildlings first and Wun Wun won the day with one word for the Starks for the Wildling loyalty to lend their arms.  The Umbers want the wildlings dead so it would be a matter of time when that battle would be brought to them and fought.  Also, the wildlings would be a buffer when the Others come and be used before the northern houses counterattacked the dead army.  This leaves the Wildlings in a bad position between two enemies, and they are delaying the inevitable fate of being decimated if they just wait it out instead of choosing a side to ally with. Sansa gave House Mormont her best words, followed by Jon and then Ser Davos Seaworth, finally fed up with the Stark's lack of diplomacy and empathy, threw in his two cents and got 62 (each worth 10 men for 620) Mormont swords according to a child lady lordling. Logistically, Deepwood is on the way to Bear Island so House Mormont should have been the last stop, but timing of events in the show are skewed. Little Lord Lyanna was not swayed by being buttered up with small talk by either Sansa or Jon. She did give into the idea of White Walkers and hushed her maester. But Bear Island is protected unless the sea freezes over and the Others can walk over the bay easily. With the idyllic setting of a waterfall, it does not appear that winter has frozen over the bay.  However, the Night King might have some magic to do so, but he didn't use it at Hardhome, so this would be a major plot mistake if used in the future. Why didn't Jon show Longclaw and state he killed a White Walker with it and saved her Uncle Joer's life from the Others? As predicted, Jon gets a cold reception from House Glover and gets no support or men and Ser Davos held his golden tongue.  Jon did not mention that the Others are coming and if they are not prepared and the north united, their little castle will be doomed all by its lonesome.  Why didn't either of them tell Lord Glover that Rickon, the rightful heir to Winterfell, was being held prisoner by the Boltons and will be killed? The son of Lord Glover gives all the reasons not to assist Sansa because of Robb's foolishness, and Jon being a bastard and possible deserter. Having just won back Deepwood Motte from the Ironborn with the assistance of Bolton aid, Glover is in the pocket of Roose and Ramsay. The last straw was Jon befriending the Wildlings and a northern house would not dignify itself with marching along side a lawless and sworn enemy. Also, Jon could be considered a deserter from the Night's Watch and we saw how Ned Stark dealt with such crimes with beheading.  Jon woefully needs diplomacy lessons and how to stir people's hearts to battle instead of leading with negative questions. Jon just falls flat as a beggar and does not rally people's hearts like Ser Davos. With a handful of men from Hornwood (200), Mormont (62), Mazin (143), Jon is pressing for the attack while Sansa is upset and preaching caution.  Somehow Jon thinks another bad winter storm is coming so they must press to Winterfell.  They can't hole up because Rickon's life depends on expediency. I beg to differ that it's Rickon's life, only his body as he is flayed and tortured by Ramsay as Sansa surely knows from her own experience and looking at Theon. She is even upset with Davos lending his counsel to Jon as his prior employer came to a bitter end. It makes no sense that a precocious 10 year old girl who is heir to the Mormont House is out in Jon's war camp in the middle of winter with her Maester. First off, it's bad luck for women to be in war camps. And second, it's just not believable that House Mormont's only daughter and heir to the family bloodline would allow the potential of being caught as a Stark bannerman should the siege go south and her betrayal will cause her to be flayed by the Boltons. Jorah would be next in line for ascension, but the Warden of the North has an outstanding death warrant for selling slaves and his wife Lynesse divorced him, remarried (it is assumed), thus renouncing her claim to the Mormont seat, and not given Jorah any heirs.

Jon S6E9 prediction: Jon has to come and see Ramsay in Winterfell. There's going to be a multi-pronged attack on the fortress as it should be quite large to defend and plenty of holes in it's guard. There will be a way in from the crypts which Sansa will lead a small wildling raiding party while Jon has to stand in the vanguard to draw the attention. Davos said they must be smart to attack against an enemy where they are outnumbered over 2 (5k-8k) to 1 (2.5k). Too bad Melisandre won't tempt Jon by posing as Ygritte and make another shadow baby. As far as strategic battle planning goes, Jon should arrange his best forces on the flanks and charge to avoid as much damage from the Bolton archers. Once the main forces meet, the wildlings can skirmish the edges while the center falls slowly back so Wun Wun can storm the center of the front line with a huge scythe or tree and break open the Bolton shield wall. Melisandre can try her hand at some Lord of Light magic to demoralize the Bolton army. Then the cavalry can try to rush in from behind Wun Wun and chew up the center and decimate the archers and encircle the Boltons. Instead we are getting a Blackwater revisit of the Vale army led by Yohn Royce in the nick of time.

Jon's prophecy: Azor Ahai; the prince that was promised

Sansa - No show for E8.

Davos - No show for E8.

Melisandre - No show for E8.

Sansa S6E9 prediction: She is praying her letter pays off and possible Lord Baelish wins Moat Cailin and comes saving the day from the south. The letter she wrote would not be going to Blackfish as Brienne is her personal messenger. The raven is not to the Manderly's because the letter stated Knights of the Vale. She would not send it to Lord Robert Arryn since the last they met she slapped him silly. If it is to Sweetrobin, Sansa might be planning to tell him how his mother Lysa actually died by Petyr pushing her through the Moon Door, giving Lord Baelish his due reward.

Sister - Brother rivalry: Jon ahead

Melisandre S6E9 prediction: More mousy scenes. She will be told by Jon not to resurrect him should he fall in battle. She predicted they both will walk the battlements of Winterfell.

Davos S6E9 prediction: He will help Jon plan the attack on Winterfell and use every smuggler's trick in the book and force Jon to not be so honorable. Perhaps as they march south he will find the burnt Shireen's sacrifice pyre along with her wooden toy, and break down while having a talk with Lyanna Mormont as an aside. Then afterward he might swear to the old gods and the new and the Red that after all the fighting is done, Melisandre will pay for her sins with her head.

Samwell & Gilly & baby Sam - No show for E8.

Samwell E6E9 prediction: Lord Tarly  (or brother Dickon) will be after Sam and want to hang him for stealing the sword since it has not been legally bestowed to Sam.

Petyr Baelish - No show for E8. The problem for Petyr is that he has played too many sides against each other - The Crown vs. Bolton, Robin vs. Royce, Sansa vs. Bolton - that if any of the manipulated agents talk without Baelish present, his plans will be outed. For instance, if Sansa is captured by Lannister men, she will say Petyr advised her to leave King's Landing and then marry Ramsay to unify the Warden of the North bloodlines. If Sansa runs into Robin or Royce, she will tell him Bolton men did not capture her from Baelish. And she can possibly convince Robin that Petyr threw Lysa out the Moon Door in cold blood, changing her testimony.

Petyr S6E9 prediction: Proclaiming the Boltons a threat to the Iron Throne for taking Sansa, he will continue to harry them, starve Moat Cailin out and look good to the Lannisters.  He has no need to push north once word of Sansa comes out that she is leading an army with Jon of northern banner men and Wildlings. Ever playing both sides, he would not seen by the Iron Throne to be siding with the Starks and a Wildling alliance, but still assailing the recalcitrant Boltons (for harboring Sansa, an enemy to the throne for aiding in Joffrey's death) to weaken them on the southern front. His best play would be to let Sansa and Jon lose to Bolton, be put to death (along with Rickon), and then march with the Knights of the Vale to destroy Ramsay's remnant forces in retaliation of taking Sansa from the Crown and refusing to give her over as a prisoner (since she would be already dead).  This ties up any loose ends that could leak and undermine his plots, while keeping Royce, Robin and the Crown in his good graces. However, it appears that Ramsay will be held prisoner at the end of the battle, so all the conspiracies that Baelish concocted will bite him in the rear and he will either be captured or he will have to run into exile to avoid punishment.

The Vale
Lord Robin Arryn - No show for E8.

Lord Yohan Royce - No show for E8.

Riverrun

Lord Walder Frey - No show for E8.

Black Walder Rivers & Lothar Frey: The brothers just watched how a real siege should be performed.

Jaime Lannister - Jaime discussed the surrender of Riverrun with Brienne, showing her a slight amused smile. He told Brienne back at King's Landing he assumed Arya was dead. Now he tells her he can't believe Sansa is still alive. He wanted to end the Riverrun siege quickly and the sooner he can get Blackfish out, the easier it would be. Brienne offered an out to Brynden to go save Sansa up in the North, but his niece is still considered a traitor to the crown by the Lannisters, wanted in connection for Joffrey's murder. His second choice was to get Edmure Tully to take control of the rebel forces and bend the knee to the Crown in surrender.

Jaime S6E9 prediction:  After the victory, Jaime will march to the Twins and dine with Walder Frey.

Bronn S6E9 prediction: He will keep reminded Jaime he was promised a castle and a nice looking bride.

Brienne / Podrick - Brienne parleyed with Jaime and was allowed one chance to talk Blackfish down from the ramparts. She failed because she didn't mention that Jon Snow was resurrected, White Walkers hit Hardhome, Valyrian Steel kills the Walkers, and Jon Snow has a Giant is helping the Starks.  Nor did she put in a cover story that the Tullys will be exiled to the Wall for their rebellion to either Jaime or the Blackfish.  She failed in her mission and sailed down the Trident with Podrick empty handed.

Brienne S6E9 prediction: She might float to some Quiet Isle and find a Hound.

Podrick S6E9 prediction: Still learn how to be a wilderness squire and tag along.

The Fingers

Sandor Clegane - Have axe, will chop is Sandor's calling card. He tracked down the brigands and then finds Lem the Lemoncloak about to be hanged by Thoros and Beric. The bandits splintered apart from the Brotherhood with mimicry of dropping the Lord of Light's calling cards to make the BwB look bad.

Sandor Clegane S6E9 prediction:   Sandor is in the area east of Riverrun, south of the Twins and near Harrenhal.

Theon Greyjoy - No show for E8.

Yara Greyjoy - No show for E8

Euron Greyjoy - No show for E8.

Theon / Yara S6E9 prediction: There was a tale dropped in E7 that the Kraken fleet sailed into Meereen. With seeing the Master's fleet in Meereen's harbor slinging firepots into the city, it appears a naval battle is being set up. Once the Master's commit ground troops, Yara's ships will come in from behind and commandeer a few and find the admiral's ship and force a surrender in the bay. Euron will be late to the party and Dany will have to be thankful for the Greyjoy siblings' assistance.

Sister - Brother rivalry: Yara ahead, but only by sausage.

Euron S6E9 prediction: It would take approximately 4 years to build a fleet of 1000 ships and then a month to saild in treacherous seas to reach Meereen from the north west coast of Westeros, south around the Reach and Dorne, the Summer Sea and the Narrow Sea, etc.

Tommen Baratheon - Gave his royal decree to put an end to the barbaric ritual of Trial by Combat in the entire Seven Kingdoms, forbidden as a corrupt practice and scheme of powerful rulers to avoid true judgement. This puts a wrinkle into her mother's plans to come out victorious in her trial. Now the former Queen Regent is to be tried under seven septons.

Kevan Lannister - The Hand is taking a nice icy cue from the late Twyin and puts Cersei in her place in the gallery as a common noble lady. If he can't get Lancel back from the Faith, and the King has gone full-bore Faith as well, he has no choice but to ride the currents.

Cersei Baratheon/Lannister - Awaiting her trial with her champion Frankenmountain beside her, she refused Lancel's orders for a visit (house arrest) to the Sept of Baelor. Then afterwards, she strode to the Throne Room, not being told of the king's formal announcement, only to be verbally put down by Kevan and told to wait in the gallery with the rest of the noble ladies of the court. Her pensive look to Tommen to gain her status was returned with a dismissive glance.

Ser Robert Strong / Gregor Clegane - Gregor does what he does best - smash heads.

Maester Pycelle - Still advising King Tommen.

High Sparrow - No show for E8.

Lancel Lannister - He had orders from the High Sparrow to take Cersei under arrest before the trial but he failed miserably and tucked tail and ran after one of his acolytes had his head ripped off by the Mountain.

Olenna Tyrell - No show for E8, unless she was in the crowd in a quick sweep and didn't leave for Highgarden yet.

Mace Tyrell - A small show, but just seen and not heard in the Throne Room.

Queen Margaery Baratheon (Tyrell) - No show for E8.

Loras Tyrell - No show for E8.

Qyburn - A supporting role for aiding Cersei and the Mountain. The rumor of wildfire throughout the city of King's Landing that was stockpiled by King Aerys II was found out to be true.

Cersei S6E9 prediction: With the trial fast approaching, and the new edict from King Tommen, she will have to stand trial in court.

High Sparrow S6E9 prediction: The HS has yet to play his trump card to remove Loras and Tommen once and for all. This would allow the HS to usurp the throne with no heir apparent from either House Lannister or Tyrell.

Queen Margaery S6E9 prediction: She will continue to find a way to bend Tommen to her will in a contest with the Sparrow.

Lady Olenna S6E9 prediction: The Queen of Thrones will fade to the background and retreat to safety.

Kevan S6E9 prediction: I forsee Cersei getting revenge on him and putting him to ground. If not, the Sparrow will use him to round up the rest of his family, arresting Cersei and Jaime for incest, and Tyrion of kinslaying.

Pycelle S6E9 prediction: Having hidden his spry nature in the guise of an elderly bent man, Cersei has no more use for Pycelle, but Tommen will not forgo having a Grand Maester as counselor.

Sister - Brother rivalry: Sister winning

Frankenmountain S6E9 prediction: He will possibly attack Kevan or defend Cersei from arrest by the Faith Militant and go down swinging from an assassin from behind (possible season trailer hint).

Tommen S6E9 prediction: This boy appears totally whipped by Margaery's charms and the Sparrow's compelling words.

Mace S6E9 prediction: Take Olenna home to Highgarden.

Qyburn S6E9 prediction: Protect Cersei when she gets arrested by the Faith Militant and set off the wildfire laser show under the Sept.

Ellaria S6E9 prediction: Have a war council and move on the Stormland to prepare a land attack against King's Landing, and send word to Daenerys Targaryen for her return once the area is secured. Or Varys will arrive to seek an alliance with Dorne to coordinate an attack with Dany.

Sand Snakes S6E9 prediction: Kill off Kevan Lannister and Pycelle.

Essos

Dathroki Sea

Daenerys Targaryen - Nothing like popping in for a park by dragon and run on top of the pyramid of Meereen when your city is being besieged by the fleets of Astapor and Yunkai.  She looked peeved that she left the city and comes back to find it about to be reduced to shambles.

Daenerys S6E9 prediction: She will ask Tyrion where are her other dragons and he will meekly reply that he freed them.  She will vent and want to strangle him, but she will stay to watch the invasion. Perhaps Drogon will call Vis and Rhaegal to help strike at the fleet, while the Dothraki reach the outskirts of the city to meet the Master's army, and the Ironborn fleet traps the invaders in port, stopping any retreat.  Dany will then find out from Tyrion that Varys went on a secret mission to secure more ships from Dorne and he put in a 7 year plan for the end of slavery. Afterwards, she will meet with Yara and hopefully Tyrion can talk her out of allying with them as the Ironborn should not be trusted.

Dany's prophecies:
Light three fires - one for life, death, and love
Ride three mounts - one to bed, one to dread, one to love
Three treasons - once for blood, once for gold, once for love

Jorah - No show for E8.

Daario - No show for E8.

Jorah S6E9 prediction: Seek out someone in Lys or some R'hollr priestess in Volantis for a cure, or hear about how Seline was healed.

Daario S6E9 prediction: He might betray her as one of the instigators of the Sons of the Harpy, or even as a spy who let the Masters know Dany was out of town. He leads the Second Sons (not the Stormcrows) on the show, so the naming might be too coincidental. Perhaps he will led the Dothraki against the Master's army on the beach head and drive them back.

Meereen

Tyrion - Horrible, painful showing for this episode with bad jokes, getting (himself and others) drunk  and forced conversation with Grey Worm and Missendei. I'd rather hear chalk grate on a board. He got a quick look at another Red Priestess to sway the smallfolk that Dany is their savior. Then he says goodbye to Varys who might be gone for a very long time. At the end, he greets Dany with her Uber by Drogon while the city is being invaded. Grey Worm overrules Tyrion's battle planning stating they will defend the pyramid to the bitter end.

Tyrion S6E9 prediction: He will have a clutch line at the end of the season where he can joke on the three eunuchs - Varys, Grey Worm and Theon.  Too bad Varys left. Maybe Kinvara can glamor into Shae and he can get some booty for old times sake and find out where whores go?

Varys - Varys was very perturbed with making a pact with fanatics, feeling the cure is worse than the symptoms. The spymaster made his exit stage left just early enough to avoid the invasion fleet blockading Slaver's Bay. Did he slip past? Where is his secret mission sending him to in Westeros? Where did he get a ship? Weren't all the Meereen ships burnt and destroyed?  Why didn't he know a huge fleet of the enemy was headed his way?

Varys S6E9 prediction: Sneak off with a rebuilt ship to Dorne and plot to ally with Ellaria Sand since Doran is dead. Or maybe he fails. Can he convince Ellaria to put a Targaryen back on the throne? With no males in the family, they can't offer a marriage to bind the alliance.

Grey Worm - Not worth the show for E8.

Missandei - She gets drunk real quick or she's pretending.

Braavos

Arya - Is was quite confusing to see Arya crawl to the mummer's backstage all wounded without being trailed by the Waif. Luckily, Lady Crane knows how to tend to stab wounds in the belly since she used to be good at that on her former boyfriends. Anyway, Arya doesn't want milk of the poppy since it will knock her out cold, and sure enough, the Waif comes in using a disguise of a young blond dandy and puts the mummer to permanent sleep. Then Arya leapt out the window and through the streets until she made her way to her hideaway where she left Needle. The Waif locks the door behind her to trap them inside, and Arya snuffed the candle hoping her reach and blind fighting would win the day. Victorious over the Waif, she removes her face, goes back to the House of Black and White and surprises Jaqen by needle-point and warns him that she's free to go.

Arya S6E9 prediction: Arya was stabbed and needs a ride to Westeros.
