The North
Rickon - No show in E8.
Rickon S6E9 prediction: Still act as useful hostage as bait to lure Jon or Sansa to Winterfell to attempt a rescue mission or prisoner exchange. He might warg into Bolton's hounds and get his revenge by turning them against Ramsay. There is no value in killing Rickon until all the other Starks are finally dead. Rumor has it that Ramsay will release Rickon across the no-man's land of pre-battle with Jon's forces and tell him to outrun his archers and the boy will die in Snow's arms.
Umber / Karstark alliance - No show in E8.
Umber S6E9 prediction: With only 2000 Wildlings able to fight according to Jon, it doesn't appear those beyond the Wall are raiding and Umber is just using an excuse to secure Ramsay's aid. Umber can play both sides should Ramsay or Jon win. Because LittleJon did not bend the knee to Ramsay, he can truthfully say he was not fully allied with Ramsay and was ensuring that he was protecting Rickon in order to arrange a future married to one of Ramsay's future daughters and ensure that the Stark line is now merged with Bolton without needing to kill off the Stark boy.
Ramsay Bolton - No show in E8.
Ramsay S6E9 prediction: Ramsay is going to consolidate his strength in Winterfell. With the E5 trailer, Baelish has teleported to the north, missing the army of the Vale marching on Moat Cailin (avoiding White Harbor and House Manderly). Bolton has to be sending out envoys to get more support for the remaining Lords. He already has Umber and Karstark. Will he get House Manderly's allegiance (and possible turn-coat later on), or will Brienne beat him to it? Bolton has to defend the Moat and spread forces to make good on his pact with Umbers. Ramsay should have had plenty of time to call on many small houses to gauge allegiances and unite the north under as its warden, bringing more soldiers to bear with ravens and envoys. If he doesn't, he is a fool. In the trailer, Ramsay is a fool for meeting Jon on the field of battle instead of letting them attempt a siege. This is the most ridiculous strategy that Ramsay can take since Jon has no siege weapons, he can just wait and let Jon's men freeze while it snows. Bolton's overconfidence will be his downfall and he will fall prisoner to the Starks. Would be nice if they behead him, but maybe he has knowledge and will be made to suffer.
Bran S6E9 prediction: I throw my hands up. BenJen(obi) [did you notice the throwback hood removal a la Alec Guiness style?] will take Bran south of the Wall while being chased by the Others while he attempts to digest the elder 3ER brain core dump. Then Bran will have some more flashback greensight of the Mad King with the Kingslayer, dragons, raven, explosions of wildfire, seeing Jaime pushing him out of the tower window in Winterfell, and by E10 see Rhaegar and Lyanna with the newborn Jon.
Jon - Amazingly enough, Jon brought Sansa to the Wildlings first and Wun Wun won the day with one word for the Starks for the Wildling loyalty to lend their arms. The Umbers want the wildlings dead so it would be a matter of time when that battle would be brought to them and fought. Also, the wildlings would be a buffer when the Others come and be used before the northern houses counterattacked the dead army. This leaves the Wildlings in a bad position between two enemies, and they are delaying the inevitable fate of being decimated if they just wait it out instead of choosing a side to ally with. Sansa gave House Mormont her best words, followed by Jon and then Ser Davos Seaworth, finally fed up with the Stark's lack of diplomacy and empathy, threw in his two cents and got 62 (each worth 10 men for 620) Mormont swords according to a child lady lordling. Logistically, Deepwood is on the way to Bear Island so House Mormont should have been the last stop, but timing of events in the show are skewed. Little Lord Lyanna was not swayed by being buttered up with small talk by either Sansa or Jon. She did give into the idea of White Walkers and hushed her maester. But Bear Island is protected unless the sea freezes over and the Others can walk over the bay easily. With the idyllic setting of a waterfall, it does not appear that winter has frozen over the bay. However, the Night King might have some magic to do so, but he didn't use it at Hardhome, so this would be a major plot mistake if used in the future. Why didn't Jon show Longclaw and state he killed a White Walker with it and saved her Uncle Joer's life from the Others? As predicted, Jon gets a cold reception from House Glover and gets no support or men and Ser Davos held his golden tongue. Jon did not mention that the Others are coming and if they are not prepared and the north united, their little castle will be doomed all by its lonesome. Why didn't either of them tell Lord Glover that Rickon, the rightful heir to Winterfell, was being held prisoner by the Boltons and will be killed? The son of Lord Glover gives all the reasons not to assist Sansa because of Robb's foolishness, and Jon being a bastard and possible deserter. Having just won back Deepwood Motte from the Ironborn with the assistance of Bolton aid, Glover is in the pocket of Roose and Ramsay. The last straw was Jon befriending the Wildlings and a northern house would not dignify itself with marching along side a lawless and sworn enemy. Also, Jon could be considered a deserter from the Night's Watch and we saw how Ned Stark dealt with such crimes with beheading. Jon woefully needs diplomacy lessons and how to stir people's hearts to battle instead of leading with negative questions. Jon just falls flat as a beggar and does not rally people's hearts like Ser Davos. With a handful of men from Hornwood (200), Mormont (62), Mazin (143), Jon is pressing for the attack while Sansa is upset and preaching caution. Somehow Jon thinks another bad winter storm is coming so they must press to Winterfell. They can't hole up because Rickon's life depends on expediency. I beg to differ that it's Rickon's life, only his body as he is flayed and tortured by Ramsay as Sansa surely knows from her own experience and looking at Theon. She is even upset with Davos lending his counsel to Jon as his prior employer came to a bitter end. It makes no sense that a precocious 10 year old girl who is heir to the Mormont House is out in Jon's war camp in the middle of winter with her Maester. First off, it's bad luck for women to be in war camps. And second, it's just not believable that House Mormont's only daughter and heir to the family bloodline would allow the potential of being caught as a Stark bannerman should the siege go south and her betrayal will cause her to be flayed by the Boltons. Jorah would be next in line for ascension, but the Warden of the North has an outstanding death warrant for selling slaves and his wife Lynesse divorced him, remarried (it is assumed), thus renouncing her claim to the Mormont seat, and not given Jorah any heirs.
Jon S6E9 prediction: Jon has to come and see Ramsay in Winterfell. There's going to be a multi-pronged attack on the fortress as it should be quite large to defend and plenty of holes in it's guard. There will be a way in from the crypts which Sansa will lead a small wildling raiding party while Jon has to stand in the vanguard to draw the attention. Davos said they must be smart to attack against an enemy where they are outnumbered over 2 (5k-8k) to 1 (2.5k). Too bad Melisandre won't tempt Jon by posing as Ygritte and make another shadow baby. As far as strategic battle planning goes, Jon should arrange his best forces on the flanks and charge to avoid as much damage from the Bolton archers. Once the main forces meet, the wildlings can skirmish the edges while the center falls slowly back so Wun Wun can storm the center of the front line with a huge scythe or tree and break open the Bolton shield wall. Melisandre can try her hand at some Lord of Light magic to demoralize the Bolton army. Then the cavalry can try to rush in from behind Wun Wun and chew up the center and decimate the archers and encircle the Boltons. Instead we are getting a Blackwater revisit of the Vale army led by Yohn Royce in the nick of time.
Jon's prophecy: Azor Ahai; the prince that was promised
Sansa - No show for E8.
Davos - No show for E8.
Melisandre - No show for E8.
Sansa S6E9 prediction: She is praying her letter pays off and possible Lord Baelish wins Moat Cailin and comes saving the day from the south. The letter she wrote would not be going to Blackfish as Brienne is her personal messenger. The raven is not to the Manderly's because the letter stated Knights of the Vale. She would not send it to Lord Robert Arryn since the last they met she slapped him silly. If it is to Sweetrobin, Sansa might be planning to tell him how his mother Lysa actually died by Petyr pushing her through the Moon Door, giving Lord Baelish his due reward.
Sister - Brother rivalry: Jon ahead
Melisandre S6E9 prediction: More mousy scenes. She will be told by Jon not to resurrect him should he fall in battle. She predicted they both will walk the battlements of Winterfell.
Davos S6E9 prediction: He will help Jon plan the attack on Winterfell and use every smuggler's trick in the book and force Jon to not be so honorable. Perhaps as they march south he will find the burnt Shireen's sacrifice pyre along with her wooden toy, and break down while having a talk with Lyanna Mormont as an aside. Then afterward he might swear to the old gods and the new and the Red that after all the fighting is done, Melisandre will pay for her sins with her head.
Samwell & Gilly & baby Sam - No show for E8.
Samwell E6E9 prediction: Lord Tarly (or brother Dickon) will be after Sam and want to hang him for stealing the sword since it has not been legally bestowed to Sam. Gilly will not be allowed into the Citadel, but she will be able to stay hidden in Oldtown. Sam will have to get seriously trained in swordplay if he plans on using Heartbane, and seek protection from another lord from his father's deadly wrath or his father and retainers who will be chasing Sam and Gilly down. If Sam can talk the maesters to allow Gilly to stay under protection she might not be taken hostage. Perhaps Sam wants the sword so the maesters can study on why it can destroy the Others, as well as dragonglass. Possibly the Citadel will offer protection for Sam and not allow the Tarlys to arrest him. However, Gilly and the baby are easy targets and might be given up by spies. Can the maesters discover how to remake Valyrian steel? Will Sam take a wagon load of weapons north to swing the tide of battle when the Others find a way past the Wall?
The Vale
Lord Yohan Royce - No show for E8.
Riverrun
Lord Walder Frey - No show for E8.
Black Walder Rivers & Lothar Frey: The brothers just watched how a real siege should be performed.
Jaime Lannister - Jaime discussed the surrender of Riverrun with Brienne, showing her a slight amused smile. He told Brienne back at King's Landing he assumed Arya was dead. Now he tells her he can't believe Sansa is still alive. He wanted to end the Riverrun siege quickly and the sooner he can get Blackfish out, the easier it would be. Brienne offered an out to Brynden to go save Sansa up in the North, but his niece is still considered a traitor to the crown by the Lannisters, wanted in connection for Joffrey's murder. His second choice was to get Edmure Tully to take control of the rebel forces and bend the knee to the Crown in surrender.
Jaime S6E9 prediction: After the victory, Jaime will march to the Twins and dine with Walder Frey. Does a raven from Ramsay bring news to Walder that Roose and Walda are dead from poison by Sansa, or a spy of Stannis? Does he get into an argument with Walder about reinstating Edmune "Frey" as Lord of Riverrun, plus sickened at the sight of this Walder's behavior and depravity he decides to "pull a Castamere" on the Freys? That would prevent Arya (and Sandor) from revisiting the Twins and laying Walder down to his final sleep. However, since Edmune would be the last and only survivor of the Frey bloodline, he would inherit the Twins as well as Riverrun. Or the Freys might ask for vengeance against Bolton and since Jaime lost his hand to a Bolton man, he might repay his debts and bring Ramsay down.
Bronn S6E9 prediction: He will keep reminded Jaime he was promised a castle and a nice looking bride.
Brienne / Podrick - Brienne parleyed with Jaime and was allowed one chance to talk Blackfish down from the ramparts. She failed because she didn't mention that Jon Snow was resurrected, White Walkers hit Hardhome, Valyrian Steel kills the Walkers, and Jon Snow has a Giant is helping the Starks. Nor did she put in a cover story that the Tullys will be exiled to the Wall for their rebellion to either Jaime or the Blackfish. She failed in her mission and sailed down the Trident with Podrick empty handed.
Brienne S6E9 prediction: She might float to some Quiet Isle and find a Hound.
Podrick S6E9 prediction: Still learn how to be a wilderness squire and tag along.
The Fingers
Sandor Clegane - Have axe, will chop is Sandor's calling card. He tracked down the brigands and then finds Lem the Lemoncloak about to be hanged by Thoros and Beric. The bandits splintered apart from the Brotherhood with mimicry of dropping the Lord of Light's calling cards to make the BwB look bad.
Sandor Clegane S6E9 prediction: Sandor is in the area east of Riverrun, south of the Twins and near Harrenhal. If Brienne and Podrick are taking a boat down the Trident, they might bump into him. It might be a cold reception at first, but the two of them might bury the axe and actually talk. His past with Sansa might come up and Brienne will try not to make her mission a total failure. It's doubtful that Samwell will run into Sandor and loan him Heartsbane (would be sweet to see him wielding that Claymore and cap off the Mountain) and pledge himself to go north to help Jon. Either way, Sandor will be highly sought after and very hard to keep hidden due to his height, strength and scarred face. However, the prediction that Sandor will go to King's Landing to act as the champion of the Faith Militant is nixxed as the King put an end to such Trial by Combat practices. He was known to be a Lannister man and a deserter from Joffrey's Kingsguard and still has a price on his head so going to the King's Landing would be suicide. No pardon from the Seven will be coming for Sandor.
Iron Islands
Theon Greyjoy - No show for E8.
Yara Greyjoy - No show for E8
Euron Greyjoy - No show for E8.
Theon / Yara S6E9 prediction: There was a tale dropped in E7 that the Kraken fleet sailed into Meereen. With seeing the Master's fleet in Meereen's harbor slinging firepots into the city, it appears a naval battle is being set up. Once the Master's commit ground troops, Yara's ships will come in from behind and commandeer a few and find the admiral's ship and force a surrender in the bay. Euron will be late to the party and Dany will have to be thankful for the Greyjoy siblings' assistance.
Sister - Brother rivalry: Yara ahead, but only by sausage.
Euron S6E9 prediction: It would take approximately 4 years to build a fleet of 1000 ships and then a month to saild in treacherous seas to reach Meereen from the north west coast of Westeros, south around the Reach and Dorne, the Summer Sea and the Narrow Sea, etc. etc. But maybe Euron has borrowed Littelfinger's worm hole teleporter which can fit a ship at a time for each of a 1000 to slip through, or so large it can encompass the entire fleet. Also, he will have to contend with a civil war from Yara. If Yara starts a civil war, it looks doubtful Euron is going to be able to keep the few ships he has left, much less be able to launch a new fleet. He will be land locked and unable to sail to Essos. But, Balon's brood has made haste to Meereen to outfox the fox.
King's LandingEuron S6E9 prediction: It would take approximately 4 years to build a fleet of 1000 ships and then a month to saild in treacherous seas to reach Meereen from the north west coast of Westeros, south around the Reach and Dorne, the Summer Sea and the Narrow Sea, etc.
Tommen Baratheon - Gave his royal decree to put an end to the barbaric ritual of Trial by Combat in the entire Seven Kingdoms, forbidden as a corrupt practice and scheme of powerful rulers to avoid true judgement. This puts a wrinkle into her mother's plans to come out victorious in her trial. Now the former Queen Regent is to be tried under seven septons.
Kevan Lannister - The Hand is taking a nice icy cue from the late Twyin and puts Cersei in her place in the gallery as a common noble lady. If he can't get Lancel back from the Faith, and the King has gone full-bore Faith as well, he has no choice but to ride the currents.
Cersei Baratheon/Lannister - Awaiting her trial with her champion Frankenmountain beside her, she refused Lancel's orders for a visit (house arrest) to the Sept of Baelor. Then afterwards, she strode to the Throne Room, not being told of the king's formal announcement, only to be verbally put down by Kevan and told to wait in the gallery with the rest of the noble ladies of the court. Her pensive look to Tommen to gain her status was returned with a dismissive glance.
Ser Robert Strong / Gregor Clegane - Gregor does what he does best - smash heads.
Maester Pycelle - Still advising King Tommen.
High Sparrow - No show for E8.
Lancel Lannister - He had orders from the High Sparrow to take Cersei under arrest before the trial but he failed miserably and tucked tail and ran after one of his acolytes had his head ripped off by the Mountain.
Olenna Tyrell - No show for E8, unless she was in the crowd in a quick sweep and didn't leave for Highgarden yet.
Mace Tyrell - A small show, but just seen and not heard in the Throne Room.
Queen Margaery Baratheon (Tyrell) - No show for E8.
Loras Tyrell - No show for E8.
Qyburn - A supporting role for aiding Cersei and the Mountain. The rumor of wildfire throughout the city of King's Landing that was stockpiled by King Aerys II was found out to be true.
Cersei S6E9 prediction: With the trial fast approaching, and the new edict from King Tommen, she will have to stand trial in court. Still, she has pushed down any priority in seeking revenge on Dorne for Myrcella's death. Or hiring an assassin for Tyrion if her spies can find him. She has bigger fish to fry like her defense in her trial. Cersei has failed to train Tommen to betray the HS. There are rumors that the Sept of Baelor is packed below with wildfire, except for book-readers, the Sept was cleansed. Perhaps the pyromancers put it back.
If Cersei wins the trial, the High Sparrow might leak that Olenna Tyrell murdered Joffrey instead of blaming Tyrion. The HS might want to put the nail in the coffin to ensure the two families break their allegiance. Another vector of attack for the HS is finally revealing incontrovertible proof that Joffrey and Tommen are products of incest between her and Jaime, fanning the flames again of rumors and bits of facts left by Jon Arryn and Ned Stark, and possibly someone overhearing Jaime yelling in Cersei's chambers. Lancel's might confess and betray Cersei and Jaime for a second attempt at a trial. If Cersei wins her first trial, and the news that the HS is arresting her again for incest, while removing Tommen from the throne, she might go Mad King and try to blow up the Sept of Baelor with wildfire as seen in Bran's vision and burn them all. The whole "burn them all" was the victory strategy that the 3 Eyed Raven was whispering to Aerys II Targaryen to defeat white walkers and army of the dead, but that is not important now. Writing to Jaime about needing him to protect her from the incest accusations, (with Jaime finding out that Cersei cheated with Lancel and so rebukes her with silence), Cersei will eventually give up waiting for a rescue from her brother when the HS noose comes for her when her trial is ended and she is sentenced.
At that point, Cersei will send a letter to be read to the High Sparrow, and the six other judges, while Tommen, Margaery, Loras and the Faith are in attendance. The reader will announce that Cersei proclaims Joffrey and Tommen children of incest with he brother Ser Jaime. Cersei declared to Tywin that she would tell the world before he died by Tyrion's hand. With a signal from the tolling of a bell to declare Cersei's sentencing complete, the Sept will explode with wildfire. As most of the people are trapped within the Sept, Tommen decides to leap out of a window to his death below. Lancel will escape with bad burns and tell Kevan what happened. Kevan will sneak attack Frankenmountain and Lancel will kill Cersei. Father and son will then rule the galaxy and outlaw Jaime. Jaime stripped of honor and title will join up with the Starks and Brienne.
Sister - Brother rivalry: Jaime
Cersei's prophecies:
Each of her children she will watch die before her
She will be killed by Volanqar (younger sibling) -
Arya has her on the hit list, and Nymeria killed Myrcella so why not go for the mother
Sandor could be alive since we did not actually see him stop breathing, and the Faith saved him
Dany might, but she might be too late to the party to help
Tommen does not appear to be the type to be a kinslayer
Loras is in no shape
Brienne has no reason
High Sparrow S6E9 prediction: The HS has yet to play his trump card to remove Loras and Tommen once and for all. Certainly there is proof of Loras' buggery with Renly, and that Margaery was marrying the false king Renly. Also, there are tons of crumbs detailing Cersei and Jaime had Tommen in incest. Since Trial by Combat has been repeeled, Cersei's champion is moot. This will possibly lead to Tommen's death when he realizes the HS manuevered him into causing his mother to be arrested and resist by using Gregor, causing chaos in the Red Keep. Then HS could whisper to Tommen to toe the line or else he will reveal his illegitimacy. Overwhelmed with guilt, Tommen might take a leap of faith out a window. Lancel is keeping Kevan in check, and his conversion means loss of title, and death would mean Kevan lost his heir for good. The HS might break Loras to convert to the Faith. Holding Loras keeps House Tyrell in check and preventing his marriage to Cersei to further prevent the bond between two strong houses. If Cersei should win the trial, he has two more cards to play. He could finally dismantle House Tyrell by implicating Olenna in the poisoning of King Joffrey, and pardon Tyrion for murder of the King, but still have a warrant for his sin of murdering his father Tywin. Then he can bring up the incest claim between Cersei and Jaime in full force, obliterating House Lannister in one last broad stroke, taking Cersei again into prison, along with Tommen's removal from the Iron Throne. This would allow the HS to usurp the throne with no heir apparent from either House Lannister or Tyrell. This bold move also removes Margaery claim to the throne since she is no longer married to a recognized King. If the Tyrells try to counter to take the throne for themselves, the pending trial and imprisonment of Loras makes him ineligible since the people will revolt against the Tyrells at the HS bidding. Jaime will not be able to return from the Riverlands in time. Or perhaps he will realize how disgusting Cersei is and stay safe at Casterly Rock and avoid going to King's Landing. He might resign himself not to save his sister because he would be implicated and imprisoned for incest as well. Or he might get to King's Landing in time for her trial, find out she plans to blow up the Sept if she loses her trial, and when she loses he decides to kill her and save innocent people, replaying history of Kingslayer. Jaime will then be arrested for murder, regardless of saving the world. Once Kevan is the only Lannister left, the HS will orchestrate his assassination and plant proof implicating the Sand Snakes or Tyrion, Varys and/or Daenerys from their exile in Essos. (See Cersei's prediction)
Queen Margaery S6E9 prediction: She will continue to find a way to bend Tommen to her will in a contest with the Sparrow. Perhaps she is using her piety to deny Tommen in bed and make him beg and promise her anything to get an heir. Her next objective is to be "The Queen", and use that power to protect her brother Loras from the Faith and further punishment. She will feel at peace knowing her grandmother is safe away in Highgarden. With Septa Unella in tow, her words will be carefully chosen with whomever she meets with. However, I fear that Loras will have to repent and convert to the Faith. Marg needs to twist Tommen into a knot and start making him see he is in mortal danger from the Sparrow and disarm the Faith Militant with a royal decree, reduce their numbers to a handful and have the position of High Septon appointed by the King for an annual (or maybe two year) term instead of for life, and the install the crown's ability to move septons around the kingdom at will. I doubt she has any way to overpower the Sparrow for Tommen's decision making, watching the royal power of Tyrell crumble. The HS might have a few surprises she cannot combat, such as turning Loras into a devout, or illegitimizing Tommen's birthright to the throne and removing her from power. Maybe she might reconsider getting pregnant in order to lengthen her life span. (See Cersei's prediction)
Lady Olenna S6E9 prediction: The Queen of Thrones will fade to the background and retreat to safety.
Kevan S6E9 prediction: I forsee Cersei getting revenge on him and putting him to ground. If not, the Sparrow will use him to round up the rest of his family, arresting Cersei and Jaime for incest, and Tyrion of kinslaying.
Pycelle S6E9 prediction: Having hidden his spry nature in the guise of an elderly bent man, Cersei has no more use for Pycelle, but Tommen will not forgo having a Grand Maester as counselor.
Sister - Brother rivalry: Sister winning
Frankenmountain S6E9 prediction: He will possibly attack Kevan or defend Cersei from arrest by the Faith Militant and go down swinging from an assassin from behind (possible season trailer hint).
Tommen S6E9 prediction: This boy appears totally whipped by Margaery's charms and the Sparrow's compelling words. I doubt he has it in him to stab the Sparrow in the back and instead will give the Sparrow everything he wants. With Margaery's support from the people, the dismantling of the nobility's special treatment will be whittled away. He can whine all he wants about not bedding Margaery, but he cannot even seduce her on his own as he has no charisma. (See Cersei's prediction)
Mace S6E9 prediction: Take Olenna home to Highgarden.
Qyburn S6E9 prediction: Protect Cersei when she gets arrested by the Faith Militant and set off the wildfire laser show under the Sept. He also might kill off Pycelle for several reasons; 1) Pycelle is loyal to Cersei (as shown by Tyrion's gambit of marrying off Myrcella), 2) revenge for almost being killed by Gregor Clegane's men (allied to Lannister) in Harrenhal, who then travels with Jaime Lannister and saves him from gangrene due to his severed hand, 3) revenge for the maester's outing him from the order and Pycelle's constant badgering that Qyburn is unconventional and a heretic. Funny who Qyburn experimented on Gregor and causing his change to do (his? and) Cersei's bidding when Qyburn has a huge grudge against Gregor and thereby all Lannisters. He is playing the long con, letting Cersei and Jaime believe he is a friend, when secretly his is plotting for an opportunity to put them in the ground.
Dorne
Ellaria -
Sand Snakes -
Obara, Nymeria, etc.
Ellaria S6E9 prediction: Have a war council and move on the Stormland to prepare a land attack against King's Landing, and send word to Daenerys Targaryen for her return once the area is secured. Or Varys will arrive to seek an alliance with Dorne to coordinate an attack with Dany.
Sand Snakes S6E9 prediction: Kill off Kevan Lannister and Pycelle.
Essos
Dathroki Sea
Daenerys Targaryen - Nothing like popping in for a park by dragon and run on top of the pyramid of Meereen when your city is being besieged by the fleets of Astapor and Yunkai. She looked peeved that she left the city and comes back to find it about to be reduced to shambles.
Daenerys S6E9 prediction: She will ask Tyrion where are her other dragons and he will meekly reply that he freed them. She will vent and want to strangle him, but she will stay to watch the invasion. Perhaps Drogon will call Vis and Rhaegal to help strike at the fleet, while the Dothraki reach the outskirts of the city to meet the Master's army, and the Ironborn fleet traps the invaders in port, stopping any retreat. Dany will then find out from Tyrion that Varys went on a secret mission to secure more ships from Dorne and he put in a 7 year plan for the end of slavery. Afterwards, she will meet with Yara and hopefully Tyrion can talk her out of allying with them as the Ironborn should not be trusted.
Dany's prophecies:
Light three fires - one for life, death, and love
Ride three mounts - one to bed, one to dread, one to love
Three treasons - once for blood, once for gold, once for love
Jorah - No show for E8.
Daario - No show for E8.
Jorah S6E9 prediction: Seek out someone in Lys or some R'hollr priestess in Volantis for a cure, or hear about how Seline was healed.
Daario S6E9 prediction: He might betray her as one of the instigators of the Sons of the Harpy, or even as a spy who let the Masters know Dany was out of town. He leads the Second Sons (not the Stormcrows) on the show, so the naming might be too coincidental. Perhaps he will led the Dothraki against the Master's army on the beach head and drive them back.
Meereen
Tyrion - Horrible, painful showing for this episode with bad jokes, getting (himself and others) drunk and forced conversation with Grey Worm and Missendei. I'd rather hear chalk grate on a board. He got a quick look at another Red Priestess to sway the smallfolk that Dany is their savior. Then he says goodbye to Varys who might be gone for a very long time. At the end, he greets Dany with her Uber by Drogon while the city is being invaded. Grey Worm overrules Tyrion's battle planning stating they will defend the pyramid to the bitter end.
Tyrion S6E9 prediction: He will have a clutch line at the end of the season where he can joke on the three eunuchs - Varys, Grey Worm and Theon. Too bad Varys left. Maybe Kinvara can glamor into Shae and he can get some booty for old times sake and find out where whores go?
Tyrion parentage theory: It is rumored that the late King Aerys II Targaryen bedded Tywin's wife Joanna Lannister after the 10th anniversary Tournament. Since all of the Queen's births were miscarraiges or stillborns, with the last being premature, it is plausible that Aerys' tainted seed could have caused Joanna's death in childbirth to a disfigured boy, even though sister-Queen Rhaella survived many birthings. Aerys taunted Joanna at the tourney, and in the past desired her to be his wife as he mocked Tywin that it is no longer the host's right to take the bride first before her husband has a chance to bed. Tywin had alluded that Tyrion might not be his child by blood, but he upheld that he was a Lannister. This would tie in with RT+LS=J, and Daenerys, and Tyrion to be the three dragon-riders and all related in the same Targaryen bloodline.
Varys - Varys was very perturbed with making a pact with fanatics, feeling the cure is worse than the symptoms. The spymaster made his exit stage left just early enough to avoid the invasion fleet blockading Slaver's Bay. Did he slip past? Where is his secret mission sending him to in Westeros? Where did he get a ship? Weren't all the Meereen ships burnt and destroyed? Why didn't he know a huge fleet of the enemy was headed his way?
Varys S6E9 prediction: Sneak off with a rebuilt ship to Dorne and plot to ally with Ellaria Sand since Doran is dead. Or maybe he fails. Can he convince Ellaria to put a Targaryen back on the throne? With no males in the family, they can't offer a marriage to bind the alliance.
Grey Worm - Not worth the show for E8.
Missandei - She gets drunk real quick or she's pretending.
Braavos
Arya - Is was quite confusing to see Arya crawl to the mummer's backstage all wounded without being trailed by the Waif. Luckily, Lady Crane knows how to tend to stab wounds in the belly since she used to be good at that on her former boyfriends. Anyway, Arya doesn't want milk of the poppy since it will knock her out cold, and sure enough, the Waif comes in using a disguise of a young blond dandy and puts the mummer to permanent sleep. Then Arya leapt out the window and through the streets until she made her way to her hideaway where she left Needle. The Waif locks the door behind her to trap them inside, and Arya snuffed the candle hoping her reach and blind fighting would win the day. Victorious over the Waif, she removes her face, goes back to the House of Black and White and surprises Jaqen by needle-point and warns him that she's free to go.
Arya S6E9 prediction: Arya was stabbed and needs a ride to Westeros. Maybe Gendry will row up and offer Arya a ride? She will one day compare scars with Jon when she gets home. Does Arya land in the Riverlands and decide to pay Walder Frey a visit and end his miserable 400 old life for the Red Wedding betrayal? Do we foresee a reunion with Arya and Sandor, and then they run into Sansa? And will Sansa fall for Sandor and chop Petyr from breast to navel to put him to ground for good? And then they all will run into Melisandre as she predicted?
